Water Safety

Because we have beautiful summers on the lake here in West Michigan, we believe that water safety is very important! In order to promote water safety this summer, we’re offering a Lifeguard Certification Course for any community member 15 years and older who wish to get their American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Lifeguard Training
Open to those 15 years and older, GENEVA will be offering a class where students can earn their American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

This course will include the 20 hours of class time and skills training needed for certification.

Additional online course work will also be required.

  • Dates: June 10-14 (or possibly June 15 if a class has to be canceled for weather or if students need more time to complete the course)
  • Time: 8am – 12pm each day
  • Registration Deadline: June 7, 2019
  • Cost: $100
  • Cancellation Fee: $15

Boater’s Safety:

Dates: July 2 & 3 at Camp Geneva

Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm each day

Cost: Free!

Please note, you must attend BOTH class times to receive the certification. This certification lasts for life!
