Day Camp

Entering Grades 1-4

GENEVA Day Camp engages a child’s sense of curiosity, fun, and adventure. Energetic and compassionate counselors walk side-by-side with campers through fun-filled days of pool time, crafts, outdoor games, and worship. This beginning experience is a great opportunity for campers to learn more about God and His wild love for us.

Camp Experiences

D1: June 8-12 (1st-2nd grades)
D2L: June 15-19 (1st-2nd grades)
D3L: June 22-26 (1st-2nd grades)
D6: July 13-17 (1st-3rd grades)
D8: July 27-31 (1st-3rd grades)
D9L: August 3-7 (1st-2nd grades)

3rd-4th grades
D1R: June 8-12            D2R: June 15-19
D3R: June 22-26        D5L: July 6-10
D7R: July 20-25 – includes both Thursday & Friday overnight – also includes Imagination Week
D9R: August 3-7

These are special sessions where all 3rd & 4th grade campers will stay over Thursday night (D7R includes both Thursday & Friday overnight) in cabins for a fun-filled taste of overnight camp. Evening activities, sleeping in a cabin, and camp meals over the fire and in the dining hall make this experience extra special.

1st-3rd grades
D4: June 29-July 2
D10: August 10-14

These 4-day sessions close on Thursday evening. While a little shorter than a typical week, we pack in the fun and adventure!

D5R: July 6-10 (2nd-4th grades)

This experience is for children in Spanish Immersion school programs or whose families are native Spanish speakers.  Bilingual camp staff eagerly share about our unity in Christ while leading worship, Bible study and activities in Spanish.

D7L: July 20-24 (1st-2nd grades)
D7R: July 20-25 (3rd-4th grades – also includes Thursday & Friday Overnight)

Special guests Joel Schoon Tanis and Steve Carigon will join us this week to help campers experience a high-energy, art-filled, creativity-inspired week.

Early Drop-Off

Early Drop-off is available Tuesday – Friday only (Tuesday – Thursday for Sessions D4 and D10)

Drop your child off at the GENEVA Center between 7:30-8:00am. They will eat breakfast with the Day Camp staff and then go to the area they’ve been assigned to for the week and have a chance to play on the playground while the other campers are arriving. $20 for the week ($15 for Sessions D4 and D10).

3:15pm Songs & Skits
4:00pm Small group time and closing activities
4:30-5:00pm Pick-up

Packing List Day Camp

What to Bring

All items should be labeled with camper’s FULL name!

  • Bible & Pen
  • Back pack or gym bag
  • Tennis shoes or sandals with back straps; no flip-flops, please
  • Sweatshirt or jacket (it is often cooler by the lake!)
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Swimsuit (1-piece suits required- see dress code)
  • Beach Towel
  • Sunscreen & Bug Spray
  • Plastic bag for wet items
  • Sack lunch
    • All lunches will be refrigerated.
    • We will provide milk at lunch and both a morning and an afternoon snack each day.
    • Please note: Day Camp is PEANUT FREE so please do not send anything containing peanuts or peanut products with your child.

If your camper is staying overnight on Thursday, here is the packing list for that.

Optional Items

  • Lifejacket, if needed. If a camper comes with a lifejacket, he/she will be required to wear it and stay in the shallow end of the pool.

Confirmation Packet Day Camp

Once your child is registered, you will receive a complete Day Camp Confirmation Packet with everything else you need to know before coming to camp, including directions, check-in and closing program times, etc.

A Note About Breakfast

Campers should eat breakfast before arrival each day unless they are signed up for early drop-off.

Printable Confirmation

  • This Printable Day Camp Confirmation contains all the information you need to know before your week of camp except for your personal information.
  • Personal information such as the session you are registered for and your receipt will be emailed to you within 2 weeks after you register, and again as a reminder a few days before your session begins.
  • Once a camper is registered, all communication will be done via the email address entered in the online registration form.
