Why Choose Geneva for a Women's Church Retreat?
Women's groups from churches across the Midwest come to Geneva, a Christian Retreat Center on Lake Michigan, because we handle the everything behind the scenes. As a Christian retreat center right on Lake Michigan, we take the planning weight off your leaders so the weekend can be about worship, teaching, and rest instead of logistics.
We'll provide the lodging, meeting space, and meals giving you the freedom to plan and lead your group's time onsite. This way, you can ensure each time of worship, teaching, and fellowship meets your group where they're at.
You're right on the water, five miles north of Holland and under three hours from both Chicago and Detroit. The setting does a lot of the work of helping your group slow down.
Bring a dozen women or fill our campus with 500. We have lodging and meeting space to accommodate your group's size.
Beach, woods, campfires, and open sky give your women room to rest, talk, and reconnect away from the pace of a normal week.
With a variety of lodging options to choose from, pick what works best for your group and enjoy the benefits of extended time together.
Everything Your Weekend Includes
Lodging, meals, a meeting space, and full run of our recreation are all part of the package.
Where Your Group Stays
We have two campuses, and each has its own feel. Shores sits right on 1,200 feet of Lake Michigan beach, while Pines is set back in 35 wooded acres around Big Pine Lake. Plenty of women's groups book the hotel-style Retreat Center rooms or Mission Point when comfort is a priority, though the cabins stay popular with groups who want everyone together in one place.

Shores Cabins
Up to 24 per cabin. A shared lobby connects two separate sleeping areas - each with its own bathrooms and showers. Carpeted, heated, and close to Lake Michigan.

Pines Cabins
Up to 10 per cabin. An open floor plan gives room for both gathering and sleeping, with its own restrooms and showers. Carpeted, heated, and nestled in the woods.

Mission Point
Space for up to 36 across three separate sleeping areas, each with their own restrooms and showers. Comfortable lounge areas and a second-story deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking Lake Michigan.

Retreat Center Rooms

Space to Gather

Full-group worship & teaching
The Woods at Pines seats 525 with sound, mounted projector and screens, and a fireplace lobby. The Chapel at Shores seats 300 and opens onto a walk-out deck over Lake Michigan. The Celebration Center seats 250 and the Dunes Room seats 200, both with projectors and sound.

Breakouts & small groups
The Harbor Room seats 100 and splits in two with a divider. Creation Corner seats 75, the East Wing seats 25 with soft seating, and the Anchor and Coast Rooms hold 10 and 5 around a fireplace with whiteboards, a good fit for small-group discussion.
Food Service
Nobody in your group has to plan a meal or wash a dish all weekend. Our dining team cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner in house, served buffet-style from a chef's choice menu, with coffee going around the clock in the Geneva Center lobby.
If anyone in your group eats dairy free, gluten free, or vegetarian, let us know at least a week out and the kitchen will have options ready for them, at no added cost.
