Classic GENEVA builds on all your favorite camp memories and amplifies the focus on community and worship. Many of your camp favorites will continue, including Challenge Island, beach time, and games, but a change of pace brings deeper interaction with one another and with scripture with the goal of embracing who God is creating us to be.

GENEVA’s knowledgeable guide will engage beginners and experienced campers and weave worship throughout the week of hiking, paddling, and camping. Down the Road gives you a behind the scenes, big picture perspective of summer camp. Some of our time will be spent at our base camp a couple of miles from GENEVA, our haven for community building. The site includes a meeting lodge, firepits, bathhouse, tents large enough for entire cabin groups, and an amphitheater for worship. Daily trips back down the road to GENEVA provide the opportunity for us to consider future staff roles as we work with GENEVA staff in the store, arts and crafts, video, waterfront, maintenance, and spend time with younger campers.

The CONNECT day camp program serves middle and high school male campers with High-functioning Autism. Campers focus on social skills, physical activity, and spiritual growth, under the care of counselors with experiences and expertise that make them passionate about serving in this program. On Friday campers have the option to stay the night in a cabin for added activity and experience.

Email genevaspecialneeds@campgeneva.org to determine if CONNECT is a good fit for your son and for instructions for registering.

Experience what it is like to be GENEVA staff firsthand by partnering with a counselor and guiding a cabin group through the week. This is a two-week program with the first week focusing on developing the CIT community and growing in our faith while learning the rhythms of camp. In the second week you will be in a Shores cabin alongside a seasoned counselor to help lead the program and invest in younger campers. Note that CITs return home during the weekend in the middle of their 2- week session.

Applications must be received by February 28. An interview will follow to determine acceptance into this program.  Learn more about the application process here.
